Brandon University Faculty Association ******FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE*****OCTOBER 10, 2008 B.U.F.A. Executive Endorses Bargaining Team's Position Late this afternoon, the Brandon University Faculty Association Executive passed a motion endorsing their bargaining team's position and urging the Board of Governors to send their negotiators back to the bargaining table with the means to engage in meaningful and productive negotiations with BUFA. BUFA believes that it is in the best interests of the entire Brandon University community, particularly the students, that the Employer return to the bargaining table to engage in meaningful discussions so that a fair and equitable Collective Agreement may be achieved as expeditiously as possible. BUFA has been on legal strike since Monday, September 29, 2008.
