Have you heard? We’re bargaining for a renewal to our collective agreement! BUFA Members gave their Negotiating Team a strong mandate to enter into a transformational round of bargaining. BUFA’s current Collective Agreement expired on March 31, 2023. In the fall of 2022, BUFA held consultation sessions with Members across campus to hear directly from them what goals and priorities should be set for this round of collective bargaining. We held consultation meetings in each of the faculties and units, with working groups and committees, and received many emails and messages.

A transformational round of bargaining needs a strong show of support from you throughout the bargaining process. You came to consultation meetings, the mandate meeting, and have been reading the bargaining updates. Now, show your support for the bargaining team by participating in engagement activities. There are many ways you can show your support that don’t take much time.
The more Members are actively showing support, the clearer the message to the Administration that BUFA Members won’t settle for less!
